S2.5 Allen key*1
Multimeter*1
Troubleshooting methods:
Before troubleshooting, make sure the printer is turned off and disconnected from the power source to ensure safe operation.
1. Use an S2.5 allen key to remove the motherboard bottom cover screws.
2. Unplug the FAN2 fan cable on the motherboard and put the motherboard cover aside.
Re-plug the motherboard end hotbed T1 cable。
This step is to be checked when the device is not heated.
1. Turn on the machine and observe whether the temperature display on the upper left of the main interface is normal. The normal temperature is generally around 25°, which is related to the ambient temperature. If the ambient temperature is low, the displayed temperature will also be lower. This prompt will also appear when it is lower than 10°C. Please move the device to a higher temperature area for use.
This step requires certain electrical knowledge and measuring equipment. Since different brands of multimeters have different measurement gears, please adjust the measurement gear of the multimeter to the appropriate value range.
1. When the machine is powered off, please use a multimeter to measure the resistance of the NTC welding port of the hot bed plate to see if it is around 100±10KΩ when the hot bed is at room temperature (25℃). If not, it may be a problem with the hot bed, please try to replace the hot bed.
2. Measure the resistance of the NTC heated bed harness plug to see if it is around 100±10KΩ. The resistance should be the same as the NTC resistance of the heated bed above. If it is different, there is something wrong with the NTC heated bed harness and the heated bed needs to be replaced.
Ps: The above steps are normal, you need to follow step 2 for troubleshooting.
(Note: This method requires live work, please pay attention to your own safety, measure according to the corresponding position in the figure below, and do not touch the two pins when measuring to avoid short circuit)
When the machine is powered on, adjust the multimeter to 20V DC gear, connect the black test lead to the negative pole and the red test lead to the positive pole, and measure whether the NTC PIN on the motherboard is 3.3±0.01V; if the measured voltage is within the normal range, it means that the motherboard is normal; conversely, if the measured voltage is not within the range, it means that the motherboard may be abnormal, please try to replace the motherboard.
