Before inspecting the connections, turn off the printer and disconnect it from the power source to ensure safe operation.
(1) Follow the diagram below to remove the printer head case.
Note: The printer head case is not secured with screws and can be removed directly.
(2) Disconnect the model cooling fan cable (red wire) and the signal light cable (black wire).
Check whether the NTC cable on the printing head is loose and reinsert the NTC cable.
Gently pull the print head connection wire to check whether the print head connection wire is loose. If the print head cable is loose, use the S1.5 allen key to tighten the two screws holding the print head cable.
(1) Use S2.5 allen key to remove the two screws securing the bottom plate.
(2) Unplug the cooling fan connection wire and remove the bottom plate.
Please check whether the print head cable is loose on the mainboard and then reinsert the print head cable.
Note: This troubleshooting step requires some electrical knowledge and measuring equipment. Different brands of multimeters have different measurement ranges, so please adjust the measurement range of the multimeter to an appropriate value.
Ensure the machine is powered off. At room temperature (25℃), use a multimeter to measure the resistance of the printhead NTC terminal. The value should be around 100±15KΩ. If not, there may be an issue with the printhead, and you should try to replace it.
With the machine powered on, set the multimeter to the 200V DC range. Place the black probe (negative) on the mainboard at the printhead connector in the left column, third pin from the top. Place the red probe (positive) on the third pin from the top in the right column. Measure if the voltage on the mainboard is 24±2V. If the measured voltage is within the normal range, the mainboard is functioning correctly. If the voltage is outside this range, there may be an issue with the mainboard, and you should try to replace it.
Note: This step involves working with live electricity. Please ensure your safety and carefully measure according to the corresponding positions shown in the diagram.
