S2.0 Allen key
S2.5 Allen key
S3.0 Allen key
Open-end wrench
Before replacing the Y-axis pulley, ensure that the device is powered off and disconnected to ensure safe operations.
① Remove the spring steel from the hotbed and place it aside for subsequent installation.
② Use the S2.5 Allen key to unscrew the 8 screws securing the hotbed.
There are spacers between the hotbed and the hotbed bracket, so please avoid losing them when removing.
Place the hotbed and the bottom spacers aside for subsequent installation.
Note: Since the hotbed wires are not disconnected, place the hotbed within the movable range.
① Rotate the knobs on both sides of the Y-axis tensioner counterclockwise and remove them, placing them aside for later installation.
② Use the S2.0 Allen key to unscrew the screws on both sides of the fixed Y-axis tensioner housing.
Remove the housing and place it aside for later installation.
① Disassemble the belt copper buckles on both sides of the front and rear of the hotbed-fixed sheet metal.
Remove the pulley from the Y-axis tensioner and place it aside.
② Slide out the hotbed-fixed sheet metal from the direction of the Y-axis tensioner.
Use an open-end wrench to fix the nut, then use the S3.0 Allen key to counterclockwise unscrew the 12 spacer screws securing the pulley.
Remove the pulley, screws, spacers, and nut.
① Take out the new Y-axis pulley and install it with the previously disassembled screws and spacers.
② Install the newly assembled pulley assembly onto the Y-axis sheet metal.
Take out the previously disassembled nut, screw it onto the screw, fix the nut with an open-end wrench,
and then use the S3.0 Allen key to clockwise tighten the screws one by one.
③ Use an open-end wrench to rotate the origin of the corresponding adjustable hex eccentric spacer to the direction of
the red arrow to facilitate the pulley's entry into the Y-axis aluminum profile.
① Slide the Y-axis sheet metal in from the Y-axis tensioner.
Ensure that, during the sliding process, the side of the sheet metal with the "notch" faces the direction of the Y-axis tensioner (see the yellow-marked part in the diagram).
② Check if the Y-axis sheet metal is shaking. If there is any movement, adjust the hex eccentric spacer below the Y-axis sheet metal until it slides smoothly and does not shake.
(Adjust the origin of the hex eccentric spacer as much as possible according to the direction marked in yellow in the diagram.)
③ Take out the previously disassembled pulley assembly, pass the belt through the pulley assembly,
and install the copper buckles at both ends of the belt onto the Y-axis sheet metal.
Note that the belt behind needs to pass around the Y-axis motor synchronous pulley.
Take out the previously disassembled Y-axis tensioner housing and screws, align it with the screw holes, and install it on the Y-axis aluminum profile.
Use the S2.0 Allen key to tighten the screws.
① Take out the previously disassembled bottom spacers of the hotbed (2 long and 6 short, with the two long ones placed in the middle of the Y-axis sheet metal).
Align them with the screw holes on the sheet metal.
Then, take out the hotbed and screws, align them with the spacers and sheet metal holes, and use the S2.5 Allen key to tighten the 8 screws one by one.
② Take out the previously disassembled spring steel and install it on the hotbed.
Take out the previously disassembled Y-axis tensioner knob, clockwise rotate the Y-axis tensioner knob to tighten it to the maximum, and then counterclockwise rotate it one full turn.
After replacing the Y-axis pulley, it is recommended to calibrate the device according to the following instructions.
Connect the device's power cord, press the power switch on the side of the device to start it.
Note:
When inserting the power cord, please avoid crossing it with the print head cable to prevent interference.
In the main interface, click on the "Tools" icon ➜ "Control" icon ➜ "Module Calibration" ➜ "Position Calibration."
The machine will automatically perform detection and pause near the top the calibration module.
You could adjust the nozzle to the center position of the calibration module using the distance units and X/Y axis movement direction on the interface.
Once done, click "Save," and finally, perform the automatic leveling again.
On the device's main interface, click the "Tools" icon - "Control" icon - "Auto- Level" - "Confirm" to start the leveling process.
Follow the set process, and after leveling is complete, click "Finish." This process takes approximately 15 minutes.
Note:
① Please check whether the PEI board is installed before leveling.
② The leveling sensor is only used for platforms with metal surfaces. If you replace the printing platform by yourself,
please choose a platform with a metal surface to ensure the normal use of the automatic leveling function.
On the device's main interface, click the "Tools" icon - "Control" icon - "Vibration Compensation" - "Confirm" for resonance detection.
Follow the sequence to detect the X and Y axes. Click "Finish" after the Y-axis detection. This process takes approximately 15 minutes.
Note:
① Place the printer in a spacious and stable area during vibration compensation to avoid interference from other resonance sources.
② There may be significant noise during the vibration compensation process, which is normal.
