S2.5 Allen Key
Gloves (It is recommended to wear gloves as the lead screw may have grease, which can soil hands during disassembly.)
① Connect the power cord to the device and turn on the device using the power switch on the side.
Note: Avoid crossing the power cable with the print head cable during connection to prevent interference.
② On the main interface, rotate the knob counterclockwise, select the settings icon, and press the knob to enter the settings interface.
Rotate the knob clockwise to select "Move Axis," then press the knob to enter the movement interface.
In the movement interface, rotate the knob clockwise to select "Home All." This step facilitates unscrewing the lead screw from the an ti-backlash nut.
Before replacing the lead screw, ensure that the device is turned off and disconnected from the power source for safety.
PS: It is advisable to wear gloves as the lead screw's grease may soil your hands during disassembly or installation.
Use the S2.5 Allen key to loosen one screw that secures the lead screw to the coupler.
Loosen the screw; there is no need to remove it. If you don't see the screw hole, slightly rotate the coupler clockwise to expose the screw hole.
Press down on the anti-backlash nut with one hand and use the other hand to rotate the lead screw counterclockwise, removing the lead screw from the anti-backlash nut.
Take out the new lead screw, press down on the anti-backlash nut, and rotate the lead screw clockwise into the anti-backlash nut, leaving about 50mm of space.
Then, place the lead screw into the coupler.
