If you encounter low accuracy or leveling problems with the Kobra 2 Neo during printing, it may be due to loose parts during transportation. This document will guide you through the process of re-calibrating the leveling.
Open-end wrench
When adjusting the eccentric spacer, make slight adjustments.
Power on the printer and raise the Z-axis to the middle height. Use your hand to check if there is any slipping on the inner side of the Z-axis V-shaped pulleys. If there is slipping, use an open-end wrench to adjust the hex eccentric spacers on the inner side of the pulleys until the inner pulleys no longer slip.
Using your hand, shake the print head module from left to right to check for any looseness or excessive tightness. If there is any, use an open-end wrench to adjust the hex eccentric spacers on the lower pulley until the print head module moves smoothly without obvious looseness.
Using your hand, shake the heated bed from left to right to check for any looseness or excessive tightness. If there is any, use an open-end wrench to adjust the two hex eccentric spacers on the lower right pulley until the heated bed moves smoothly without obvious looseness.
Rotate the X/Y axis tensioner knobs clockwise to tighten them fully, and then rotate them counterclockwise one full turn.
① On the main interface, rotate the knob counterclockwise to select the settings icon, and then press the knob to enter the settings menu.
② In the settings menu, rotate the knob clockwise to select "Module Calibration," and then press the knob to enter the calibration menu.
③ In the calibration menu, first rotate the knob clockwise to select "Position Calibration." The machine will automatically probe and stop near the calibration module. Observe the distance between the nozzle and the center position above the calibration module. You can enter the axis movement interface by selecting the X/Y move distance option on the screen and pressing the knob. Adjust the corresponding axis distance to align it with the center position of the calibration module. Then press the knob again to return to the calibration menu. Finally, click the "Save" button to complete the calibration.
Please note that after completing the calibration, perform an automatic leveling again.
If you have any further questions,It is recommended that you create an after-sales work order to feed back the process and results of the previous inspection to the after-sales engineer. After-sales engineers will help you solve the problem.(Reply time :1 working day)
