S2.5 Allen key
S3.0 Allen key
Open-end wrench
Before replacing the X-axis pulley, make sure to turn off the device and disconnect the power for safe operation.
Use an S2.5 Allen key to loosen the 4 screws securing the print head. Place the print head aside for later installation.
Since the wires and PTFE tube on the print head are not removed, the range of movement is limited; ensure it stays within the allowed range.
① Rotate the red knob on the X-axis belt tensioner counterclockwise and remove it for later installation.
② Use an S2.5 Allen key to loosen the front and rear screws securing the X-axis belt tensioner, then remove the outer shell of the X-axis belt tensioner.
① Remove the copper buckle on the back of the X-axis sheet metal and take off the pulley assembly wrapped by the belt, placing it aside for later installation.
②Slide out the X-axis sheet metal from the direction of the X-axis tensioner and remove it.
Use an open-end wrench to secure the nut, then use an S3.0 Allen key to counterclockwise unscrew the 3 spacer screws, and remove the pulley, screws, spacers, and nut.
① Take the new X-axis pulley and assemble it with the previously removed screws and spacers.
② Install the newly assembled pulley onto the X-axis sheet metal.
Take the previously removed nut, screw it onto the screw, secure the nut with an open-end wrench, then use an S3.0 Allen key to clockwise tighten each screw one by one.
① Slide the X-axis sheet metal in from the X-axis tensioner.
② Take out the previously removed pulley assembly, pass the belt through the pulley assembly,
and install the copper buckles at both ends of the belt onto the print head module sheet metal.
Take out the previously removed X-axis tensioner shell and screws.
Align them with the screw holes and use an S2.5 Allen key to pre-lock the screws.
① Take out the previously removed print head and screws, placed within the allowed range.
Align it with the screw holes on the X-axis sheet metal and use an S2.5 Allen key to tighten each screw.
② Check if the print head wobbles. If there is any movement, adjust the hexagonal eccentric spacers beneath the print head until it moves smoothly without wobbling.
Take out the previously removed X-axis tensioner knob. Clockwise rotate the X-axis tensioner knob until it is tight, then counterclockwise rotate it once.
Connect the power cord to the device and press the power switch on the side to start the device.
Note:
When inserting the power cord, please avoid crossing it with the print head cable to prevent interference.
① On the main interface, rotate the knob counterclockwise to select the settings icon, and then press the knob to enter the settings menu.
② In the settings menu, rotate the knob clockwise to select "Module Calibration," and then press the knob to enter the calibration menu.
③ In the calibration menu, first rotate the knob clockwise to select "Position Calibration." The machine will automatically probe and stop near the calibration module.
Observe the distance between the nozzle and the center position above the calibration module.
You can enter the axis movement interface by selecting the X/Y move distance option on the screen and pressing the knob.
Adjust the corresponding axis distance to align it with the center position of the calibration module.
Then press the knob again to return to the calibration menu. Finally, click the "Save" button to complete the calibration.
Please note that after completing the calibration, perform an automatic leveling again.
① On the main interface, select the settings icon by rotating the knob counterclockwise.
② In the settings interface, rotate the knob clockwise to select "Auto Level" and press the knob. A popup will appear; select "√" to initiate the device's preheating,
nozzle cleaning, and automatic leveling process.
Note:
I. Please check whether the PEI board is installed before leveling.
II. The leveling sensors is only used for platforms with metal surface.
If you replace the print platform yourself, please choose a platform with a metal surface to ensure the normal use of the automatic leveling function.
III. This PEI sheet can be used for printing on both sides, but you need to follow the following rules: If you level the bed using side A, then you should also print on side A.
If you switch to side B, you will need to re-level the bed.
① Insert the TF card into the device's slot.
② Select any model and start printing.
Note: After starting the print, carefully observe the first layer. If situations ① and ③ occur, indicating a mismatch in Z Offset,
you can make fine adjustments during the printing process. Adjust the distance between the print head and the heated bed.
After making adjustments, you can pause the print task (for testing purposes only). Then, start printing the actual model file you need.
