Before replacing the Y-axis pulley, make sure to turn off the device and disconnect the power for safe operation.
① Take off the PEI board on the hotbed and place it aside for later installation.
② Use an S2.5 Allen key to unscrew the 4 screws securing the hotbed.
There are spacers between the hotbed and the hotbed bracket, so be careful not to lose them.
Place the hotbed and the bottom spacers aside for later installation.
Note: Since the hotbed wires are not disconnected, place the hotbed within the movable range.

|
① Rotate the knob on the Y-axis tensioner counterclockwise, remove it, and place it aside for later installation.
② Use an S2.0 Allen key to tighten the left and right screws securing the Y-axis tensioner shell, remove the shell, and place it aside for later installation.
① Remove the belt copper buckles on the front and rear sides of the hotbed-fixed sheet metal, take off the pulley of the Y-axis tensioner, and place it aside.
|
|
|
② Slide out the hotbed-fixed sheet metal from the direction of the Y-axis tensioner.
Use an open-end wrench to secure the nut, then use an S3.0 Allen key to counterclockwise unscrew the 3 spacer screws, and remove the pulley, screws, spacers, and nut.
Use wet wipes or tissues to wipe off any dirt or dust generated by the wear and tear of the pulley on the Y-axis aluminum profile to avoid affecting the movement of the hotbed.
① Take the new Y-axis pulley and assemble it with the previously removed screws and spacers.
② Install the newly assembled pulley onto the Y-axis sheet metal.
Take the previously removed nut, screw it onto the screw, secure the nut with an open-end wrench,
then use an S3.0 Allen key to clockwise tighten each screw one by one.
|
|
|
① Slide the Y-axis sheet metal in from the Y-axis tensioner.
When sliding in, note that the bottom of the sheet metal has one side with 2 adjustable hexagonal eccentric spacers,
and the pulley should face towards the direction of the touch screen.
|
|
② Take out the previously removed pulley assembly, pass the belt through the pulley assembly, and install the copper buckles at both ends of the belt onto the Y-axis sheet metal.
|
|
|
Take out the previously removed Y-axis tensioner shell and screws. Install them on the Y-axis aluminum profile and use an S2.0 Allen key to tighten the screws.
① Take out the previously removed bottom spacers of the hotbed, align them with the screw holes on the sheet metal, and place them.
Then, take out the hotbed and screws, align them with the spacers and sheet metal holes, and use an S2.5 Allen key to tighten the 4 screws one by one.
|
|
|
② Take out the previously removed PEI board and install it on the hotbed.
Take out the previously removed Y-axis tensioner knob. Clockwise rotate the Y-axis tensioner knob until it is tight, then counterclockwise rotate it once.
Connect the power cord to the device and press the power switch on the side to start the device.
Note:
When inserting the power cord, please avoid crossing it with the print head cable to prevent interference.
① On the main interface, rotate the knob counterclockwise to select the settings icon, and then press the knob to enter the settings menu.
② In the settings menu, rotate the knob clockwise to select "Module Calibration," and then press the knob to enter the calibration menu.
③ In the calibration menu, first rotate the knob clockwise to select "Position Calibration."
The machine will automatically probe and stop near the calibration module. Observe the distance between the nozzle and the center position above the calibration module.
You can enter the axis movement interface by selecting the X/Y move distance option on the screen and pressing the knob.
Adjust the corresponding axis distance to align it with the center position of the calibration module.
Then press the knob again to return to the calibration menu. Finally, click the "Save" button to complete the calibration.
Please note that after completing the calibration, perform an automatic leveling again.
① On the main interface, select the settings icon by rotating the knob counterclockwise.
② In the settings interface, rotate the knob clockwise to select "Auto Level" and press the knob. A popup will appear; select "√" to initiate the device's preheating,
nozzle cleaning, and automatic leveling process.
Note:
I. Please check whether the PEI board is installed before leveling.
II. The leveling sensors is only used for platforms with metal surface.
If you replace the print platform yourself, please choose a platform with a metal surface to ensure the normal use of the automatic leveling function.
III. This PEI sheet can be used for printing on both sides, but you need to follow the following rules:
If you level the bed using side A, then you should also print on side A. If you switch to side B, you will need to re-level the bed.
① Insert the TF card into the device's slot.
② Select any model and start printing.
Note: After starting the print, carefully observe the first layer. If situations ① and ③ occur, indicating a mismatch in Z Offset,
you can make fine adjustments during the printing process. Adjust the distance between the print head and the heated bed.
After making adjustments, you can pause the print task (for testing purposes only). Then, start printing the actual model file you need.
