① Before updating to firmware version V3.1.0, please ensure that your device firmware is already at version V3.0.3 or above (including V3.0.3).
If your device does not meet this requirement, you need to upgrade the device to version V3.0.3 first.
② If your device version is below V3.0.3, please follow the upgrade steps below for the initial upgrade.
After completing the device update and successfully restarting automatically, wait for a while to ensure that the WiFi module restarts and connects again.
Then, follow the upgrade steps for the second upgrade.
① Enhanced security verification for downloading print files.
② Strengthened security measures for connecting to the server.
Plug in the device and turn it on. On the main interface, click on the "Settings" icon, then "Cloud," "WLAN," and activate the "WLAN" option.
The device will automatically search for nearby 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signals.
Select the corresponding Wi-Fi signal, input the password, and the device will connect to Wi-Fi when the Wi-Fi icon on the left turns blue.
For readability, the images in the following illustration show all the available options, which may differ from the actual device interface. Please follow the prompts below:
Click on the top-left corner " < " icon to return to the Settings interface.Click "More Settings," "About Machine," and the red arrow icon.
The device will prompt you to confirm the upgrade. After confirming, the firmware upgrade will automatically complete within 3 minute.
Go to "Settings," "More Settings," "About Machine," and check if the firmware version has been successfully updated.
After upgrading the firmware, it is recommended that you recalibrate the device according to the following instructions.
In the main interface, click on the "Tools" icon ➜ "Control" icon ➜ "Module Calibration" ➜ "Position Calibration."
The machine will automatically perform detection and pause near the top the calibration module.
You could adjust the nozzle to the center position of the calibration module using the distance units and X/Y axis movement direction on the interface.
Once done, click "Save," and finally, perform the automatic leveling again.
On the device's main interface, click the "Tools" icon - "Control" icon - "Auto- Level" - "Confirm" to start the leveling process.
Follow the set process, and after leveling is complete, click "Finish." This process takes approximately 15 minutes.
Note:
① Please check whether the PEI board is installed before leveling.
② The leveling sensor is only used for platforms with metal surfaces.
If you replace the printing platform by yourself, please choose a platform with a metal surface to ensure the normal use of the automatic leveling function.
On the device's main interface, click the "Tools" icon - "Control" icon - "Vibration Compensation" - "Confirm" for resonance detection.
Follow the sequence to detect the X and Y axes. Click "Finish" after the Y-axis detection. This process takes approximately 15 minutes.
Note:
① Place the printer in a spacious and stable area during vibration compensation to avoid interference from other resonance sources.
② There may be significant noise during the vibration compensation process, which is normal.
① Insert the USB flash drive into the USB port of the device.
② Select any model file and start printing.
Note:
After starting the print, carefully observe the printing status of the first layer. If situations ① and ③ occur, it indicates a mismatch issue with the Z offset.
You can make fine adjustments to the Z offset during the printing process to adjust the distance between the print head and the hotbed.
After fine-tuning, you can stop the print job (for testing purposes only). Then, you can start printing the actual model file you need.
