Troubleshooting Method:
Before proceeding with troubleshooting, make sure to turn off the printer and disconnect the power to ensure safe operation.
Hold the latch on both sides of the touch screen cable to remove it, and then take the cable out of the slot.
① Use the M2.5 Allen Key to unscrew the 2 screws fixing the bottom plastic parts;
② Use a Phillips screwdriver to pry open the plastic parts along the indicated direction;
③ Take out the touch screen cable from the plastic parts;
④ Unplug the FAN2 fan cable on the mainboard and set aside the plastic parts.
① Please refer to the position in the diagram below and gently pull the hotbed heating cable to observe if there is any looseness or detachment.
② You can also use a Phillips Screwdriver to loosen the screw that secures the hotbed heating cable, and then tighten it again to secure the hotbed heating cable.
This troubleshooting step requires some electrical knowledge and measuring equipment. Due to different brands of multimeters having different measurement ranges, adjust the multimeter to the suitable range.
With the machine powered on, set the multimeter to the 200V DC range. Place the black probe (negative) on the fourth screw down from the top of the mainboard power port, and place the red probe (positive) on the third screw down from the top of the mainboard power port. Measure whether the voltage at the mainboard during heating is within 24±2V. If the measured voltage falls within the normal range, it indicates that the mainboard is functioning properly. If the measured voltage is outside of this range, it suggests that the mainboard might be faulty. Consider trying to replace the mainboard.
Troubleshooting Method:
The above troubleshooting methods did not resolve the issue.We recommend that you create an after-sales work order to provide the after-sales engineer with feedback on the previous inspection process and results.
