Troubleshooting Method:
Before proceeding with troubleshooting, make sure to turn off the printer and disconnect the power to ensure safe operation.
① Use an M2.5 Allen Key to unscrew the 2 screws that secure the print head casing and place them in a suitable position.
② Push the latch gently in the direction indicated by the blue arrow.
③ Finally, hold the white terminal of FAN0 by hand, unplug the FAN0 cable, remove the print head casing, and set it aside.
Hold the latch on both sides of the touch screen cable to remove it, and then take the cable out of the slot.
① Use the M2.5 Allen Key to unscrew the 2 screws fixing the bottom plastic parts;
② Use a Phillips screwdriver to pry open the plastic parts along the indicated direction;
③ Take out the touch screen cable from the plastic parts;
④ Unplug the FAN2 fan cable on the mainboard and set aside the plastic parts.
Reconnect the hotend NTC cable and the hotend cable harness on both ends, and plug and unplug them one by one.
Note: If there is glue on the appearance, gently remove the glue before unplugging the cables.
This troubleshooting step is performed when the device is not heated.
Troubleshooting Method:
Power on the machine and observe whether the temperature displayed in the upper left corner of the main interface is normal. The room temperature is generally around 25°C. It is related to the ambient temperature. If the ambient temperature is low, the displayed temperature will also decrease. When it is lower than 10°C, this prompt may appear. Please move the device to a warmer area for use.
This troubleshooting step requires some electrical knowledge and measurement equipment.
Troubleshooting Method:
With the machine turned off, measure the resistance of the hotend T0 terminal at room temperature (25°C) using a multimeter to see if it's around 100±15KΩ.(PS: Due to different measurement ranges of multimeters from various brands, please adjust the multimeter's measurement range to a suitable numerical range) If not, the problem may be with the hotend. Try replacing the hotend.
With the machine turned off, set the multimeter to the buzzer mode and tMeasure the NTC PIN of the hotend transistor board is normal (measure as indicated in the corresponding position in the diagram). If the multimeter emits a "beep" sound, the hotend transistor board is normal and conductive. Otherwise, if there is no sound, there may be a problem with the hotend transistor board. Try replacing it.
PS: This method requires working with electricity, please be cautious and measure carefully as indicated in the diagram
With the machine powered on, set the multimeter to the 20V DC voltage range. Place the black probe (negative) on the first PIN from the left in the top row of the hotend cable harness on the mainboard side, and place the red probe (positive) on the sixth PIN from the left in the top row of the hotend cable harness on the mainboard side. Measure whether the NTC PIN on the mainboard has a voltage of 1.8±0.3V; if the measured voltage is within the normal range, it indicates that the mainboard is normal; otherwise, if the measured voltage is not within the range, it indicates a problem with the mainboard.
Troubleshooting Method:
The above troubleshooting methods did not resolve the issue.We recommend that you create an after-sales work order to provide the after-sales engineer with feedback on the previous inspection process and results.
