S2.5 Allen Key
Flathead Screwdriver
Before replacing the WiFi antenna, make sure to turn off the 3D printer and disconnect the power for safety.
Hold the sides of the control screen cable connector and detach it. Then, remove the cable from the cable groove.
① Use the S2.5 Allen Key to unscrew the 2 screws securing the bottom plastic part.
② Use the flathead screwdriver to pry open the plastic part.
③ Take out the control screen cable from the plastic part.
④ Disconnect the FAN2 fan wire from the mainboard and set the plastic part aside.
Since the Kobra 2 Pro WiFi antenna is attached inside the mainboard casing,
peel off the WiFi antenna sticker, carefully unplug the WiFi cable connector from the mainboard, and remove the entire WiFi antenna.
① Take the new WiFi antenna, peel off the backing, and stick it inside the mainboard casing.
Be careful not to stick it on the clips of the base plastic part (yellow part in the diagram).
② Install the other end of the WiFi antenna cable into the mainboard's clip. After installation, secure the cable into the groove to ensure a snug fit.
① Take the base plastic part that was set aside earlier, plug the fan wire into the corresponding position on the mainboard.
② Thread the control screen cable through the base plastic part.
③ Take the screws removed from the base plastic part earlier, install the plastic part onto the mainboard casing clips,
and then use the S2.5 Allen Key to tighten the 2 screws.
① Thread the control screen cable through the bottom cable groove.
② Press the terminals on both ends of the control screen cable connector to insert it into the control screen.
