Lubricating Grease
Note: Some illustrations have omitted the bottom heated bed components for clarity.
Before replacing the lead screw, ensure that the device is turned off and disconnected from the power source for safety.
Follow the illustration to move the Z-axis by pulling the belt in the specified direction.
Lower the X-axis to ensure that the print head does not touch the heated bed, facilitating easier removal of the Z-axis lead screw in the subsequent steps.
Use the S3.0 Allen Key to unscrew the 2 screws on each side of the lead screw fixing plate.
Remove the lead screw fixing plate and screws and set them aside for later installation.
Remove the bearings from both sides of the lead screw.
Then, use the S2.0 Allen Key to loosen the 2 set screws on each side of the lead screw synchronous pulleys.
Take off the synchronous pulleys and the timing belts between them. Place all disassembled parts aside for later installation.
Use the S2.5 Allen Key to loosen the set screw on the coupler. Once loosened, the lead screw should be movable.
Wear gloves to avoid getting your hands dirty. Grasp the top of the lead screw and rotate it counterclockwise to remove it from the gap assembly.
Press down on the gap assembly, take out the new lead screw, and rotate it clockwise to pass through the gap assembly.
Install the lead screws on both sides in the same way.
Note the slight difference at the bottom of the lead screws, and rotate them into the Z-axis motor coupler or the bearing on the other side accordingly.
Press down on the left Z-axis lead screw, ensuring it is fully inserted into the coupler.
Use the S2.5 Allen Key to tighten the set screw on the coupler.
Begin by installing the synchronous pulleys on both sides (note: steps facing upwards).
Then, install the timing belt between the two synchronous pulleys.
Finally, install the lead screw bearings (large circle facing downwards). Do not tighten the set screws on the synchronous pulleys at this point.
①Take out the previously removed lead screw fixing plate and screws.
Ensure that the side of the lead screw fixing plate with letter markings faces downward.
Use the S3.0 Allen Key to tighten the 2 screws on each side of the fixed lead screw fixing plate.
②Push up both synchronous pulleys, then use an S2.0 Allen wrench to tighten the 2 set screws on each synchronous pulley.
Apply a small amount of lubricating grease along the height of the Z-axis lead screw.
Avoid using lubricating oil to prevent it from flowing into the motor and damaging internal components. Connect the power cord and start the device.
Then, select "50mm" distance and click the "Z+ arrow" to move the X-axis module upward. Click 5 times to the top.
At this point, apply a small amount of lubricating grease to the surface of the Z-axis lead screw motor.
Then, click "Home All" or the "house" icon on the right to zero the Z-axis.
Repeat this process to ensure the lubricating grease covers the entire surface of the lead screw. Finally, wipe off any excess grease.
We recommend periodic maintenance of the Z-axis lead screw every 3 months or when you hear unusual noises or sounds while moving the Z-axis. Here are the steps:
Use a lint-free cloth to clean the Z-axis lead screw, ensuring its surface is smooth and free of dust or impurities.
Power on the printer, go to the main menu, select "Settings," click on "Move," and then click on "All Home" or the "house" icon on the right to zero the Z-axis.

After lubrication, perform some test prints to ensure smooth Z-axis movement without any abnormal noises.
