Note: When replacing the extruder, perform filament retraction for the print head. Wait for the print head to cool down before proceeding with the replacement.
Before proceeding with the replacement, make sure to turn off the printer and disconnect the power to ensure safe operations.
Move the cable clip upward, pry open the clip, and disconnect the print head module's wiring by gently pulling it out.
Remove the clip on the quick connector, press the quick connector, and pull out the filament tube.
Use an M2.5 Allen key to remove the screws securing the print head.
Use an M2.5 Allen key to install and secure the print head in place.
Remove the clip at the quick connector of the new print head, connect the filament tube, and reinstall the clip.
Align the print head wiring with the cable port, then press it into the cable port, and finally, install the cable clip.
Tip: After replacement, please level your printer.
