¶ 2. Disassembly Steps:
¶ Step 1: Turn off the printer
Before replacing the Y-axis belt, make sure to turn off the printer and disconnect the power supply to ensure safe operation.
¶ Step 2: Remove the Y-axis Belt Tensioner
①Turn the red knob of the Y-axis belt tensioner counterclockwise to remove it;
②Move the hot bed to the front, and use a wrench or other tool to move the copper buckle of the belt fixed on the hot bed to the left and remove it;
③Use the S2.0 Allen Key to unscrew the left and right screws that fix the tensioner;
④Take out the tensioner, and finally take the belt out of the tensioner pulley.
¶ 3. Installation Steps:
¶ Step 1: Install the belt
First, move the hot bed to the front position.
①Pass one end of the belt through the tensioner pulley;
②Use your hand to clamp the copper buckle of the belt to the fixed position of the sheet metal at the other end;
③Move to the right to the groove after being clamped.
¶ Step 2: Install the Y-axis tensioner
① Install the Y-axis tensioner housing and tighten the 2 screws on the left and right;
② Turn the tensioner knob clockwise to the tightest and then turn it counterclockwise for one circle.
