Before proceeding with the replacement, ensure that the printer turned off and disconneche power to ensure safe operations.
Use an S3.0 Allen key to remove the two screws securing the top cover.
①Use an S2.5 Allen key to loosen the two screws on the coupler.
②Slightly lift the X-axis aluminum profile on the motor side by hand, separate the screw rod from the coupling, and remove the coupling.
①Disconnect the wires from the Z-Axis motor.
②Use an S3.0 Allen key to unscrew the screws securing the motor bracket, and remove the motor assembly.
Use an S2.5 Allen key to unscrew the four screws securing the Z-Axis motor and separate the bracket from the motor.
Replace the motor and use an S2.5 Allen key to securely fasten the motor to the motor bracket.
①Use an S3.0 Allen key to reattach the motor and bracket to the gantry.
②Reconnect the motor wires to the motor port.
①Place the coupler back on the motor rotor and rotate the lead screw by hand, inserting it into the coupler hole.
②Lift the coupler, first use an S2.5 Allen key to secure the lower coupler screw.
③Then use an S2.5 Allen key to tighten the upper coupler screw.
Align the holes on the top cover with the lead screw and reattach it.
Use an S3.0 Allen key to secure the screws that fix the top cover on the lead screw.
Note:After installation, recalibrate your printer before printing.
