To ensure the stability of the feeding process and the smooth operation of the automatic switching function of the consumables, the ace pro requires regular maintenance and inspection. Here are some suggestions to help you keep the equipment in optimal operating condition: Before performing maintenance on the machine, please turn off the ace power supply and disconnect the power cord to ensure safe operation.
Please note that due to the friction of the consumables, the material tube has the risk of wear. We recommend that you regularly check whether the ace Teflon tube (PTFE tube) is worn and replace it in time. If the worn ace Teflon tube (PTFE tube) is not replaced in time, feeding failure or blockage may occur.
Under normal usage, we recommend replacing the PTFE material tube every two months to ensure that the filaments can be smoothly fed in and out in various usage scenarios. If you are using highly abrasive filaments such as those containing fibers, it is recommended to check it once a month and replace it in time if the material tube is obviously worn to prevent poor feeding from affecting the printing effect or causing other faults.
1)Pull out the Teflon tube and remove the blue pneumatic clamp.
2)Press the black pressing head with your hand and pull out the Teflon tube (PTFE tube) with force. Repeat the same method for the other three tubes.
Installation method:
1)Insert the new PETG tube into the buffer mechanism. If it can be dragged to the buffer mechanism normally, it proves that the PETG tube is installed in place.
2)After the PETG tube is installed in place, drag the PETG tube and install the blue pneumatic clamp.
When the feed port is severely worn, it will cause problems with feeding and jamming of materials. If you find any, please contact the store in time to purchase a replacement.

How to replace the feed channel:
1)Use an S2.5 Allen key to unscrew the two screws that secure the cover.
2)Remove the worn feed channel, pay attention to the Teflon tube of the feed channel.
3) Install the feed channel assembly on the multi-color shell. The feed channel assembly cannot be higher than the surface of the multi-color shell.
(1)Check whether the LED light flashes during feeding. If it flashes, there may be dust on the feeding detection component, which needs to be wiped with a clean cloth.
(2) The photoelectric switch also needs to be cleaned of dirt to avoid affecting the operation of the driven wheel.
(3)Check if the cables on the pcba board are damaged or not properly connected.
(4)Check if the swing piece of the feed detection plate is damaged or bent. If damaged, it will affect the feed.
(1)Regularly check the roller assembly that holds the consumables to see if it rotates smoothly and if there is any jamming.
Disassembly process: If the bearing rod and ball bearing are found to be rusty or cannot rotate during disassembly, lubricate them with lubricating oil.
Note: Avoid losing the bearings on both sides during removal.
Disassembly process: If there is rust or it cannot turn, you can apply lubricating oil for lubrication.
(1)Use an S2.5 Allen Key to remove the two screws that secure the buffer mechanism cover.
(2) Remove the discharge cover and flip the buffer mechanism.
(3)Use an S2.0 Allen Key to disassemble the buffer mechanism, then remove the rear cover and black interface of the buffer mechanism, and check whether the spring is deformed and whether the rebound is normal.
