¶ 1.Tools:
- Diagonal pliers
- Steel needle
¶ 2.Remove the filament from above the hub
If the filament cannot be rolled back, please press the black pneumatic connector and pull out the teflon tube.
¶ Step 1: Pull out the teflon tube
(1)While pressing the buckle (1), pull the teflon tube upward (2).
(2)Then press the extruder handle to force the filament out.
¶ Step 2: Insert the teflon tube
Please clean the excess supplies from the teflon tube and insert the teflon tube back into the hub.
¶ 3.The filament cannot be removed from the hub
¶ Step 1: Cut off the filament
Push the cutter handle inward to cut off the filament.
Note: Please check whether the printer is equipped with the cutter decoration cover shown below. The missing part will cause the filament to accumulate in the feed channel, causing the phenomenon of stuck material.
¶ Step 2: Remove the print head air nozzle
Remove the print head air nozzle from the print head module.
¶ Step 3: Remove quick-release nozzle
Flip the handle holding the nozzle up and remove the quick-release nozzle.
¶ Step 4: Remove the filament
Use diagonal pliers to pull out the filament forcibly.
¶ Step 5: Install quick-release nozzle
Insert the quick-release nozzle into the cooling block until it is flush with the cooling block under the throat step, then press down the handle to secure the nozzle.
¶ Step 6: Clean the nozzle
Then heat the nozzle and use a steel needle to unclog the nozzle, taking care not to burn.
¶ Step 7: Install the print head air nozzle
Then install the air nozzle back to the print head module, and the quick-release nozzle replacement is completed.
