¶ 2. Disassembly steps:
¶ Step 1: Turn off the printer
Before making the replacement, make sure to turn off the printer and disconnect the power supply to ensure safe operation.
¶ Step 2: Disassemble the X-axis belt
Remove both ends of the belt from the module fixing buckle.
¶ Step 3: Disassemble the housing on both sides of the X-axis
①Use the S2.5 Allen key to unscrew the fixing screws of the left housing of the X-axis.
②Use the S2.5 Allen key to unscrew the right housing screw of the X-axis.
③Use the S2.0 Allen key to unscrew the adjustment screw of the belt tensioner.
¶ Step 4: Replace the belt
①Remove the housing and separate the tensioner. (Note that the spring is lost)
②Pull one end of the belt out of the tensioner.
¶ 3. Installation steps
¶ Step 1: Replace the X-axis belt
①Pull out the belt and insert the replacement belt along the aluminum profile.
② After winding around the synchronous wheel, insert it from the hole at the bottom of the aluminum profile.
③ Insert the other end of the belt into the tensioner, pass it along the pulley once, and then insert it into the right end aluminum profile.
④ Re-fix both ends of the belt to the module buckle.
¶ Step 2: Install the housing on both sides of the X-axis
① Install the left housing and fix it with an S2.5 Allen key.
② Combine the housing and the belt tensioner, and then clip the housing into the aluminum profile.
③ Use an S2.5 Allen key to fix the housing screws.
④ Then use an S2.0 Allen key to fix the belt adjustment screws.
