Before replacing the pulley, make sure to turn off the printer and disconnect the power to ensure safe operation.
①Turn the knob on the X-axis tensioner counterclockwise to loosen it.
②Detach the belt copper buckles on both sides of the fixed X-axis sheet metal.
Use the S2.5 Allen Key to loosen the 2 screws securing the print head casing.
Use the S2.5 Allen Key to loosen the 2 screws securing the print head. Move the print head to a position where it does not interfere with the pulley removal.
Use an open-end wrench to secure the nut, then use the M3.0 Allen Key counterclockwise to loosen the 3 screws securing the pulley.
①Place the sheet metal on the X-axis aluminum profile. Install the pulley on the print head sheet metal. Pre-lock the screws with the previously removed nuts.
②Secure the nut with an open-end wrench and use the M3.0 Allen Key clockwise to tighten each screw.
③Slightly shake the print head module. If there is noticeable wobbling, use an open-end wrench to adjust the hex eccentric spacers on the back of the fixed pulley until the print head module no longer wobbles, and moves smoothly on the X-axis.
Place the print head ribbon cable in the cable slot, then use the S2.5 Allen Key to loosen the 2 screws securing the print head.
Align the print head casing with the screw holes on the sheet metal. Use the S2.5 Allen Key to tighten the 2 screws.
Install the belt copper buckles on both sides of the X-axis sheet metal.
Turn the knob on the X-axis tensioner clockwise until it is tight, then loosen it counterclockwise by one turn.
After replacing the X-axis pulley, perform auto bed leveling again. If there are issues such as the nozzle pressing too hard on the bed or a too large gap, manually adjust the Z-axis offset.
