There are several problems, such as drawing, poor printing quality, and Z-seam leakage.
Drawing refers to the phenomenon that during the FDM 3D printing process, the surface of the printed parts has an uneven and uneven texture, similar to the phenomenon of "drawing". This may be caused by reasons such as too fast printing speed, inappropriate temperature, and unstable extrusion speed of the extruder.
Solution:
1) Reduce the printing speed, especially in the printing of complex geometric shapes or high-precision parts.
2) Dry the consumables to reduce the drawing phenomenon of the consumables.
Poor printing quality usually refers to the rough surface, unclear details, inaccurate shape and other phenomena of the printed parts, which may be caused by inappropriate printing parameters, improper equipment adjustment, poor material quality and other reasons.
Solution:
1) Check the printing parameters, including layer height, filling density, printing speed, consumable wire diameter, etc., to ensure that they match the printed parts, consumables and actual requirements.
2) Ensure that the printing bed is flat and level it in time to avoid quality problems caused by uneven bottom of parts.
3) Use high-quality printing materials and avoid using expired, leaking, and damp materials。
Due to the structural limitations of FDM type printers, it is basically impossible to completely eliminate the seam. It will always be a little visible. However, with carefully adjusted settings, it should not be too obvious.
Steps to view the Z seam in the slicing software:
Click Preview after the model is sliced → Click "Seam" in the upper right display panel.
Solution:
Adjust the position of the Z seam: In the slicing software, you can adjust the position of the Z seam to hide them as much as possible. You can choose to place the Z seam at the edge, corner or less conspicuous position of the model to reduce the impact on the appearance of the model.
The above are some methods to try to hide the Z seams in the model. The specific results may vary depending on different printers, materials and settings. It is recommended to adjust and optimize according to the specific situation to obtain the best printing quality.
