Before disassembly, please turn off the printer and disconnect the power supply to ensure safe operation.
(1)First, please press both sides of the cooling air duct according to the following picture, and remove the front cover of the print head outwards.
(2)Disconnect the model cooling fan connection and extension cable, and place the print head case aside.
(1)Please press the button of the hotend cable from the back of the print head to remove the hotend cable.
(2)Then pull up the clip fixing the hotend circled below and remove the hotend.
Use an S2.0 Allen key to unscrew the three screws that fix the strain gauge assembly, and then remove it.
Replace the new strain gauge assembly and then reinstall it into the extruder. Use an S2.0 Allen key to tighten the screws that fix the strain gauge assembly.
(1)Replace the new hotend, insert the hotend into the heat dissipation block, and keep the pipe step flush with the heat dissipation block.
Note: When removing the hot end of the print head and reinstalling it, you must check whether the print head is in place. (If it is not installed in place, the hot end nozzle may scrape the hot bed)
(2)Then push the handle down to clamp the pipe, and the handle exceeds the insulation sleeve, and then flip the hotend to check whether the hotend is fixed in place.
(1)Please connect the hotend cable back to the printhead adapter board, and then connect the model cooling fan with the extension wire, and arrange the wire.
Note: Do not insert the hot end cable in place as shown in the left picture. Please insert the hot end cable in place as shown in the right picture. (If the hot end cable is not installed in place, it may cause the hot end to fail to heat.)
(2)Finally, please fasten the print head case on the print head.
