- S1.5 Allen key
- S2.0 Allen key
¶ 2. Disassembly steps:
¶ Step 1: Turn off the printer
Before disassembly, please lower the hotbed to the bottom, then turn off the printer and disconnect the power supply to ensure safe operation.
¶ Step 2: Remove the right cover of the printer
(1) First use the S2.0 Allen key to unscrew the five screws on the left side of the rear cover.
(2) Use the S2.0 Allen key to unscrew the top four screws holding the right cover.
(3) Then lay the printer flat and use the S2.0 Allen key to unscrew the five screws at the bottom that hold the right cover of the printer.
¶ Step 3: Remove the mainboard cover
(1) Use the S2.0 Allen key to unscrew the four screws fixing the baffle and remove the baffle.
(2) Then use the S1.5 Allen key to unscrew the two screws fixing the mainboard cover and remove the cover on the mainboard.
¶ Step 4: Remove the control screen cable
(1) Please tear the tape fixing the control screen cable and remove the control screen cable.
(2) Open the baffle of the control panel wiring, tear off the tape fixing the wire and then remove the control screen wire.
¶ 3. Installation steps:
¶ Step 1: Connect the control screen cable
(1) Replace new control screen cable, connect the wire back to the control screen, and then cover the baffle.
(2) Connect the control panel cable back to the motherboard port.
¶ Step 2: Install the mainboard cover
(1) Install the cover on the motherboard, then use the S1.5 Allen key to tighten the two screws holding the cover.
(2) Align the screw holes on the baffle, and then use the S2.0 Allen key to tighten the four screws fixing the baffle.
¶ Step 3: Install the right cover of the printer
(1) Please install the right cover of the printer, and then use the S2.0 Allen key to tighten the five screws at the bottom of the printer to secure the right cover.
(2) Put the printer in the right position and use the S2.0 Allen key to tighten the top four screws that hold the right cover of the printer.
(3) Finally, please use the S2.0 Allen key to tighten the five screws on the left side of the back cover of the printer.
