¶ 2. Disassembly steps:
¶ Step 1: Turn off the printer
Before disassembly, please lower the hotbed to the bottom, then turn off the printer and disconnect the power supply to ensure safe operation.
¶ Step 2: Remove the back cover of the printer
(1) First remove the plug detection cable, then use the S2.0 Allen key to unscrew the two screws fixing the plug detection and remove them, and finally remove the teflon tube.
(2) Use the S2.0 Allen key to unscrew all screws on the back cover, and then remove the back cover of the printer.
¶ Step 3: Remove the hot bed connection wire
(1) Use scissors to cut off the cable tie fixing the hot bed connection, and then use the S2.0 Allen key to unscrew the two screws fixing the power protection shell.
(2) Take off the power protection shell, and pull out the hot bed power supply wire and NTC wire.
¶ Step 4: Remove the hot bed assembly
Use an S2.0 Allen key to unscrew the six screws holding the hot bed assembly in place, then remove the hot bed assembly.
¶ 3. Installation steps:
¶ Step 1: Install the hot bed assembly
Please replace the hot bed assembly with a new one, then use an S2.0 Allen key to tighten the six screws holding the hot bed in place.
¶ Step 2: Reconnect the hot bed connection
(1) Connect the hot bed power supply line and the hot bed NTC line
(2) Install the power protection shell, tighten the two screws fixing the power protection shell using the S2.0 Allen key, and then secure the power cable with cable ties.
¶ Step 3: Install the rear cover of the printer
(1) Use the S2.0 Allen key to tighten the screws fixing the back cover of the printer.
(2) Please clamp the plug detection into the back cover of the printer, then use the S2.0 Allen key to tighten the two screws fixing the plug detection, and finally connect the plug detection cable back to the back cover and plug in the teflon tube.
