- This problem is most likely caused by the friction between the Z-axis lead screw and the anti-backlash component. Please refer to the following steps to deal with it.
¶ 1. The lead screw motor lacks grease
Please apply an appropriate amount of grease to the lead screw and control the motor to run up and down several times to make the lubricant adhere evenly. Please try to avoid using lubricating oil, as highly fluid lubricating oil will flow along the motor lead screw to the inside of the motor.
¶ 2. The anti-backlash component is loose
Please use the hex wrench in the tool kit included with the printer to check whether the screws of the anti-backlash component are loose.
¶ 3. If the Z-axis motor still has abnormal noise after the above steps are completed, it is recommended to replace the Z-axis motor:
