Ensure that the WiFi antenna is securely installed on the printer and there are no obstructions between the printer and the router to receive the WiFi signal effectively.
Enter the main interface of the printer, select 'System' > 'Service,' and confirm the server selection is 'Global.'
Go to the main printer interface, and select 'System' .
If you see a 'cloud' button on the device, that means the firmware is current and you don't need to update it. You can proceed to the next step of connecting the printer to the network.
If there's no 'cloud' button, you'll need to update the firmware in order to connect the printer to the network. The process for updating the firmware is as follows:
1) Obtain the latest firmware update for your printer by downloading it. Navigate to the Anycubic official website at
Firmware Upgrade , Download the firmware files for the Photon M3 Premium to a USB drive.
There are a total of two files, printing these two firmware files constitutes a printer firmware upgrade:
File 1: P_M34G5V_1021test.bin、
File 2: ota-m3_premium-1.0.2.1-16AF3D4E-20230110.acf
Note 1: The firmware update process requires that File 1 be printed first, followed by File 2. Deviating from this specific order or repeating steps may result in the firmware update failure. In such cases, please submit a support ticket at
Problem processing (work order) submission platform
with a detailed description and relevant screenshots or images for efficient resolution.
Note 2: For certain batches of printers, when a USB flash drive is inserted into the printer, only File 1: P_M34G5V_1021test.bin is displayed, while File 2 is not shown. This is a normal phenomenon, and once File 1 has been printed, the printer will display File 2, which can then be printed to complete the upgrade process.
On your computer, create a text document in the root directory of the USB drive. The file name should start with 'WIFI_', for example 'WIFI_123.txt'. The text content should be as follows:
:Your desired WiFi network name, (e.g. the name of the WiFi network you are currently connected to)
:Your desired WiFi password, (e.g. the password of the WiFi network you are currently connected to)
:5, (Do not modify)
Note: Do not remove the colon (:) before each parameter and the comma (,) after each parameter.
(All symbols in the text should be in English characters)
