When printing parts that need to be assembled, material shrinkage may cause dimensional errors and affect part fit. The XY hole/contour compensation function in the slicing software can automatically correct such gap problems.
Setting path: Process → Quality → Accuracy modification to adjust the corresponding options.
Optimize assembly tolerance issues
● When printing assembly models, factors such as printing accuracy, expansion or scaling
of consumables may cause fitting tolerance deviations and affect assembly results. At this time, the model size can be fine-tuned by adjusting the following parameters: X-Y hole compensation:Control the hole size in the horizontal direction (X/Y axis).
○ Positive value: Enlarge the hole
○ Negative value: Reduce the hole
● Horizontal size compensation: Adjust the overall size of the model's outer contour to
ensure assembly accuracy.

Adjust the size of the model's outer contour in the X/Y direction:
● Positive value: enlarge the outer contour
● Negative value: reduce the outer contour
Applicable to assembly problems caused by printing errors, and can accurately fine-tune the size.
