The reason for the "E12" error on the Wash & Cure Max is that, after draining water or alcohol, the bottom liquid level sensor still detects the presence of water or alcohol in the working bucket. This leads to the "E12" error displayed on the screen. Possible factors causing this issue include cured resin or residues accumulating on the filter, causing poor water flow, an uneven workbench making the machine tilt and preventing the complete drainage of liquid, and sensor damage, among other issues.
After this problem occurs, the machine will be in a locked state during operation (red light) until it automatically unlocks (green light). At this point, you can open the machine cover and follow the troubleshooting steps for "Interior Dirt in the Work Bucket" and "Clogged Filter Net." Other troubleshooting steps should be performed after turning off the power.

After plugging in the power cord and turning on the machine, there is a red indicator light near the filter in the work bucket. Touch it with your hand and observe if the indicator light goes out.
If the indicator light does not go out, it suggests that there may be an issue with the liquid level sensor. You can first try troubleshooting by following the "Reconnecting the Liquid Level Sensor Cable" method. If the problem persists, the liquid level sensor may be damaged and need replacement. You can follow the instructions in the provided article to replace the sensor. These steps will help resolve issues with the liquid level sensor.
If the indicator light goes out, it indicates that the liquid level sensor is working correctly. The issue may be caused by other factors, which should be investigated as follows.
After prolonged use, the interior walls of the work bucket may accumulate a layer of cured material or residue, which can prevent the liquid level sensor from functioning correctly.
Open the machine cover and add clean water to the work bucket. Gently clean the inner walls of the work bucket with a plastic scraper. (Note: Do not use sharp objects to scrape the inner walls.)
After cleaning, press the "START/PAUSE" button on the machine display panel to resume operation. The machine will continue its previous process.
Open the machine cover, remove the tray holding the models from inside the work bucket, and then sequentially remove both filter nets.
Use a brush or similar tool to clean any blockages from the filter net.
After cleaning, reinstall the filter nets at the drainage points inside the work bucket.
Once the filter nets are installed, press the "START/PAUSE" button on the machine display panel to resume operation.
Carefully inspect whether the workbench is level. If the workbench is uneven, it may cause the machine to tilt, preventing complete drainage of water from the work bucket.
Attempt to move the machine to a more level position to ensure the workbench remains horizontal. This helps prevent tilting of the machine and ensures proper drainage.
Situation 1: If there is no water or alcohol in the work bucket, you can proceed directly to step 2.
Situation 2: If there is water or alcohol in the work bucket, connect the power cord to the machine and turn it on. First, observe the clear water bucket and detergent bucket on both sides of the machine to determine which bucket's liquid level has significantly decreased. This will help identify the type of liquid present in the work bucket.
①If you determine that water is in the work bucket, press and hold the "CANCEL" button for 3 seconds to drain water from tube #4.
②If you determine that alcohol is in the work bucket, use the detergent bucket to catch the liquid from tube #4, then press and hold the "CANCEL" button for 3 seconds to drain alcohol from tube #4. (Please note that under normal circumstances, tube #4 is connected to the waste liquid bucket, and this operation can save alcohol.)
Before proceeding with the next steps, be sure to turn off the machine and unplug the power cord to ensure your safety.
First, use one hand to press the safety valve on the quick connector, and then use the other hand to remove the water pipe from the connector. You can refer to the diagram to remove all four water pipes using this method.
①Place the machine with the side bearing the "Anycubic" logo facing upward. (Please note that when the machine is turned upside down, a small amount of water may leak from the drainage outlet at the bottom. You can place a cloth underneath in advance to prevent this.)
②Use an M2.5 Allen key to remove the 8 screws that secure the bottom shell of the machine.
③Use an M4.0 Allen key to remove the 4 screws that secure the bottom shell of the machine.
④Remove the bottom shell of the machine and place it aside.

①Use a "cross" screwdriver to remove the screw securing the liquid level sensor.
②First, reconnect and disconnect the liquid level sensor cable. Then, carefully inspect whether the conductive adhesive tape on the back of the liquid level sensor is correctly attached. If it's not properly attached, make sure to remove it and reattach it to ensure full adherence to the solder pads.
Next, place the liquid level sensor with the connected cable into the corresponding groove. Finally, use a "cross" screwdriver to tighten the screw securing the liquid level sensor in place. These steps will help ensure the normal operation of the liquid level sensor.
